3D with Silverlight and the Missing Triangle

by Florian Krüsch May 3, 2008

This has been following me for quite a while. Many moons ago, before I got into .NET and enterprise development, I was actually working as a Web- and Flash-Developer. Maybe that's why I'm so excited about WPF and Silverlight 2.

I had a little obsession about a 3D engine done in Flash. With Silverglobe, the little app that brought me to MIX08 (big thanks to INETA!), I once again got infected with playing with 3D.

Finally I found a little time to post an article on the CodeProject: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/silverlight/silverlight_triangle.aspx

The article itself is not really about 3D... well, maybe a little bit, but hopefully will help others get started with texture-based 3D graphics using Silverlight. However, the sample code does contain some 3D sample code.

Please, go check it out.

Thanks for listening,
Florian
